Medical simulation is a powerful way to practice and learn in a safe environment using high technology patient manikins, equipment, simulated patient scenarios and debriefing. This website will help you prepare for your simulation course. Aloha!

Create Account Register/Surveys

All users of the simulation center must create an account in our learning management system at https://www.simtiki.org.

Simulation

Learn about simulation and how to participate in this exciting learning environment. Learn about the different roles of student and facilitator and about patient scenarios and use of debriefing.

Simulation Room

Your patient manikin will be presented in an environment such as an emergency room or hospital ward. Learn to use the patient monitor, locate equipment and more.

Create Account

To attend courses at SimTiki, you must Create an account and Register for a course. In this section you will learn about the following:

After your class, complete post course surveys

Step 1: Create an Account
Navigate to Simtiki.org
- Click Login on the top right
- Click Create Account
- Fill in all asterisk items
  - Note that you must use the Telephone drop down list to identify the “type” of number (e.g. work, home, cell)
  - Click Submit
- Answer questions about your role and institution
  - Click Submit
- Read and answer confidentiality, permission to photograph for education purposes, latex and non-clinical equipment pages.
  - Click Submit

Register for a Class

Step 2: Find your Course
- Click Course Catalog on the left menu
- Select the Course you want to take. This will take you to the course page.
- Click Register for a Class
- Complete the form. Use the drop down menu to Select a Class Date
- Click Submit

Complete Post Course Survey & Facilitator Evaluation

AFTER your class, complete the Facilitator Evaluation and Post Course Survey

Step 3: Complete the Post Course Surveys
- Log into simtiki.org (It will automatically open to the My Portfolio page)
- Next to the flag icon click Incomplete or In Progress
- In the yellow top block, click Post-class Evaluation of Instructor (NEEDED)
  - Skip to the instructor you interacted with and complete the feedback
  - Click submit
- Next to the flag icon click Post Survey (NEEDED)
  - Complete the survey
  - Click submit
